This tour is to explore a castle and a temple in Kyoto. You can learn more about the history of each spot;
・"Nijyo jyo" (World Heritage): only castle in Kyoto city, where you can see gorgeous paintings on the wall. This place also marks the event that the last shogun returned the governing power to the emperor.
・Kinkaku-ji Temple (World Heritage): It is famous as the Golden Pavilion. Besides the pavilion, you can feel the old Japanese beauty of Zen Buddhism.

Our tour guide (Hiro?) was very knowledgeable. I loved his orange tipped pointer to explain what we would be seeing and the routes through the castle. He reminded me of my scientist Father. We started out at the Nijyo Castle, Kinkakuji Temple and ended at the Golden Pavilion. We were going to say good bye when he wanted to make sure we made it back towards our Hotel. I expressed interest in a Sushi restaurant in Pontocho. We found it with his help. I invited him to lunch with us because it seemed difficult to order. He ordered for the three of us and we enjoyed one of our best meals.

Nice to meet Hiroshi, our guide. He was very kind and answered all our questions, he told us a lot of interesting things about the monuments and Japan. The castle and the golden pavilon were better with him.
