【Outline of Kagurazaka】

Kagurazaka is a town of old Japanese atmosphere, having a narrow stone pathway and Japanese style restaurants with black wooden walls, etc.

There still exists a “Geisha” school and some Geisha ladies walk around Japanese traditional restaurants. Interestingly enough, there is an alley called “Kakurenbo-Yokocho” (Hide-and-seek Street) where famous people (politicians, celebrities etc.) can escape from someone who tries to find him/her without passing the same street. Yet, because of some French schools existing in Kagurazaka area, there are many fine French restaurants with the atmosphere of Paris too. Near Kagurazaka, there is a fine garden “Koishikawa Korakuen Gardens” too.
