1. Meiji Jingu Shrine
Meiji Jingu Shrine is a Shinto shrine established in 1920 to commemorate Emperor Meiji and His consort Empress Shoken. There are more than 100,000 trees in the precinct donated by people from all over Japan.
2. Kanda Myojin Shrine
This Shrine was established in 730 and was moved to the present place in 1616. In the first three days of January, about 300,000 people visit this shrine.
3. Yushima Seido
Yushima Seido is a Confucius Mausoleum., moved from Ueno to the present place in 1690 by 5th Shogun, Tokugawa Tsunayoshi for promoting Confucianism.
4. Holy Resurrection Cathedral, Tokyo（Orthodox Church in Japan）
It is commonly known as “Nicolai-do.” The Cathedral was constructed in 1891.
5. Sensoji Temple
The oldest temple in Tokyo and about 30mil people visit this temple a year.
6. Nezu Shrine
This temple was moved to the present place during the Edo Period by the 5th Shogun, Tokugawa Tsunayoshi. The temple is designated as National Important Cultural Property.
