At first we will visit Tsukiji Market which has roughly two parts.
1. The fish market’s middlemen’s branches
2. Retailers and restaurants
As all the shops in both have extremely fresh food such as fish, sea foods, vegetables and fruits and quality kitchen utensils included in knives to fillet giant tuna and so on.
And there are a lot of sushi restaurants where they use fresh ingredients they get at the market early in the morning. You can enjoy a bite size Japanese omelet, grilled shells, crams and so on, besides your guide takes you to shops which offer sample green tea, Japanese soup stock and so on. You can fully enjoy Tsukiji Market efficiently.
After Tsukiji、we will move to Asakusa.
On it’s way we will drop in Itohya stationary shop in Ginza. The shop displays it’s items beautifully like a museum. It‘s possible for you to make your original memorable custom made notebook there.
In Asakusa we will visit a tea ceremony workshop place. At first you go through about a 60㎠small door into the tea room, and try to make matcha tea and drink it as learning how to do it by a tea instructor. In case you need a chair, they set one for you.
At the end, you walk for about 10 minutes and try to make replica food. You pour melted wax into water and make tempura of a shrimp and vegetables, and a head of fresh lettuce.
While you try those workshops, you enjoy around Kaminarimon Gate and Nakamise shopping arcade which is the busiest spots in Asakusa and the most popular photogenic spot
Meet at the main entrance of Tsukiji Hongwanji at 9:00 am.
Enjoy looking around the market from 9:15 to 11:00 am.
