Let’s enjoy the World Heritage shrine and temples and the great nature of a waterfall, lake and forest in Nikko.

Nikko, a pilgrim town, is located 128km north of Tokyo where the Toshogu Shrine complex listed the World Heritage sits amid mountains. They were built to enshrine the First Tokugawa-Shogun, Tokugawa Ieyasu, after his death (1616) and his successors. The surrounding mountains are beautiful throughout the year. ●Departing from Shinjyuku at 8:21 by JR・Tobu-line, arriving at Tobu-Nikko at 10:13
●The Nikko Toshogu Shrine : Mausoleum of the founder of Tokugawa Shogunate
- Yomeimon: Chinese gorgeous gate
- Yakushi-Do: Dragon barks
- Three wise monkeys: See no evil, Hear no evil, Speak no evil
- Sleeping cat: Peaceful age in Edo period
●Tamozawa Imperial Villa Memorial Park:
- The villa for Taisho Emperor (1912—1926) has 106-room residence surrounded by gardens. You can stroll corridors, appreciate gorgeous screen paintings and the 400- year old weeping cherry tree.
●Departing from Tobu-Nikko at 16:39 and arriving at Shinjyuku at 18:36

【Likely Optional Spots depending on the season】
●Lake Chuzenji: The lake was formed by the eruption of Mt.Nantai (2,486m) and it is one of the best resort places.
●Kegon Water Fall: Water comes from Chuzenji-Lake and falls 97m down. The spectacle is beyond the description.
