Kamakura,the old capital, is a very attractive historical city near Tokyo.
It was a cultural center of eastern Japan during mideaval times. We will visit the Enkaku-ji temple which is one of the leading Zen temples, Tsurugaoka Hacimangu shinto shrine which was built by the first Shogun Yoritomo, the popuular komachi-dori shopping street and the Hokoku-ji Zen temple which is famous for its bamboo garden.
